They can be broken down into a couple of different groups: Admin types: they keep every e-mail that they have ever been sent. In their inbox. Then they complain that their mailtool takes forever to come up. People that think that their job is the most important on the planet: they think the world revolves around them and any e-mail they get is an annoyance. They generally reply-to-all on large aliases saying that they already get too much mail. When pressed the "too much mail" turns into about 25 messages a day. Computer people: they get 300+ messages a day and think nothing of it. (And, all of this is on an intranet that has no access to the Internet, in a large, Dep't of Defense agency.) No real point. I just thought that I'd share that little tidbit of info. - -- chad at radix dot net Oh Carolina ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 13 Feb 1999 02:30:57 -0500 From: chad schrock Subject: Re: Outing Richard Butterworth Ross Hendry wrote: > chad schrock wrote: > > >Then Ross continued to exude his Disney-denting whimsy with: > >> Why on earth would we need either air conditioning or > >> refrigeration?!? > >Um, so the inside isn't hotter than the outside?? > Good god!
