At least not where the song is meaningless (i.e. anywhere where Mike Harris is just a name not associated with happenings and such). It just doesn't have the same depth. They'd be doing it for the catchy acapella music and Murray singing low and not doing justice to what the song meant when it was written. It's like doing Cross Border Shopping in Louisville KY. The song changes from a commentary on a real issue to a humourous upbeat song sung to the tune of the Saber Dance and New York New York. If the band wanted to do a humourous upbeat song, they got enough others to choose from. So, yes, I'd like to hear Big Fish and Entropy and Jenny Washington once at some point during the band's career, but only because I have heard all their other studio songs done live before and the completist bastard in me needs to hear the other songs. But if they want to dust something off and start playing it live, pick some of the Your New Boyfriend tour stuff (it has been 2 years *grin*) like Fell in Love or Doorstep or Poor Mary Lane. But that all is just my opinion of things. - Chad ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 05 Jan 2000 15:49:23 GMT From: Melanie Subject: Re: Favorite Songs Brassgrl70 wrote: >>I was just wondering what everyone's favorite song (s) is (are) from each album-<< Bargainville: Gulf War Song Wood: Misplaced "b": Kid's Song YWGTTM: Get in the Car Live Noise: Fly Thornhill: Earthquakes For today, anyway. :-) melanie melanie@redeemer-cincy.org ------------------------------ Date: 05 Jan 2000 15:34:14 GMT From: dalevy@aol.com (DALevy) Subject: Re: Favorite Songs >I was just wondering what everyone's favorite song (s) is (are) from each >album-I know it's had to narrow it down.....
