That place is like a 3rd home to me(2nd is my friend Pat's house:) I have Frü-related[1] stuff to post in a few mins, when I'm done reading. Didn't have a computer for a week, bah. Neil, the other one [1] -- Notice the umlaut. The computer I had before this was an IBM Thinkpad and it took like 5 minutes just to get the num lock going, but now I'm on a home-brew type box, and I can use this MS Natural Keyboard and the num lock works all the time: ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 03 Jan 2000 02:37:08 GMT From: SugarFly26@aol.com Subject: Re: NoHo show (since you asked) >the subject shifted to that of brand names that have become >used as simple nouns (you know, Kleenex, Tampax, Scotch tape) Mwahahahaha...how many ya think we could come up with here? - ---------> Ln ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 03 Jan 2000 02:46:23 GMT From: SugarFly26@aol.com Subject: theatre (was Re: OT Band nerds) Rachael said: True, there are good versions of it, but the one we did sucked majorly. I mean, cringe eep, ack, shudder sucked. Between a bad version, and all the other problems we had with it..not good. I'm kinda partial to Oklahoma!. I didn't like it much til we did it last year, but I like it. Of course Phantom of the Opera. Rent. A Midsummer Night's Dream. Fiddler on the Roof. Millions more. We're starting a production of Hart & Kaufman's You Can't Take It With You very shortly next week, actually. My really really awesome theatre-loving potential Fruhead friend that I never get to see told me he likes it a lot. I'm not familiar with it though. I know the basics, but not more than that. So I'm curious. - ------------> Ln, posting a heck of a lot lately. ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 03 Jan 2000 02:37:27 GMT From: neil@nospam.flipse.com (Neil Bardhan) Subject: Frvous + NYE + JB2K So I went to a friend's big party... people flew in, who used to live in the area. What cool parents, eh? And some TMBG/Frü types drove from IN & MA to converge in PA. The MA couple (Nutty, Jiff!) had gone to the NoHo show and brought the tape along! EEEEEEEEEE!!!! So we listened to that while we drove one girl home early(poor thing had wisdom teeth problems). On the stereo at various points: Thornhill & YWGTTM. THere was a dancing area(had no boundaries) on the basement floor, so we were all grooving & whatnot... 12-31-1999 was the first day I heard Pisco Bandito, AFAIK. I like it! I also dig IWHO and Sad Girl. Neighbors gave me a $20 gift certificate to the Mall, so I will visit Saturday Matinee and pick it up, if they have a copy. Hm.. what else? I have a new computer! Barely used! My brother wanted the other 2 computers that he owns, which were here, and so he took them back to school and sent this one back. Gotta do some fun stuff with it. School tomorrow BLEAH! I've done it twice, once with my best friend as the lead and with her mom playing...her mom, her father was in it also as the russian. It's funny and a fast show. And have fun with the fireworks! Rachael who is about to go into production for Our Town...bleah! Give me a good musical any day ===== Q: How do you get rid of an actor on your front porch? A: Pay them for the pizza. That would be scary, two Neils in one place. Perhaps the world should work to assure that such a thing never happens. - -- - -neil neilliam@hotmail.com www.neilbert.com ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 02 Jan 2000 22:08:53 -0500 From: chad schrock Subject: Re: NoHo show (since you asked) BBWMinors wrote: > With five major road trips coming up in the next eight months > (Florida for two weeks, upstate NY for a week, North Carolina > for 10 days, probably the basic Ohio/Kentucky/Tennessee strip > for a week and a mystery trip -- somewhere that I won't know > I'm going till the day before for the first week of April), > I'm praying that somewhere along the line one of those trips > will coincide with a Fru-stretch of dates as well.
