OK, all.... since I've been having a number of private conversations about showing up for the New Year's Eve show, or for Frucon III: I will not be at either. I'm just not masochistic enough to spend another New Year's eve in Buffalo, and I will be preparing to move back to Boston at the end of February, so Frucon is out this year. On the other hand... I *will* be at the Iron Horse show on December 30, so everyone who's going to be there should please make a point of saying hi and collecting hugs (where appropriate!). My English class had to form groups and teach acts of King Lear to the rest of the class last week. My group was assigned Act III, and we decided to make a movie of it. The soundtrack was compiled mostly by me and my fruconvert friends, Francesca and Adrienne. The opening credits had Psycho Killer playing over them, and all the non-fruheads in our group LOVED it. I heard them all humming it at different times during the shoot. It was great :) This slightly innovative version of King Lear also featured a scene with me (as Lear) lip synching sexily to "Such A Crime" by Tory Cassis. *ahem* We got the highest grade in the class.
