'Ungh' is a favourite of mine, thanks to Katrin. OK, see, Katrin and I have a disagreement about what "foof" means. For her, it's an interjection; a negative, kind of like "damn." It comes from one or the other of her cats, but I don't remember which. (My cats don't make this noise, though I've heard it from lots of dogs, I think my cats are just weird.) For me, it's a noun used to name the extra stuff on something that's perfectly good without the extra stuff, like triple sauce on a pizza, or the ruffle on a prairie skirt. I actually prefer the adjective form "foofy," which means overly decorated or adorned; fussy. I've been using "foof" in this way for 15 years, so I feel pretty strongly about its usage. > I also > reserve the right to '*bud*' anytime I feel like it, especially when faced > with undeserved adversity.
