One of the few places a 20 or 21-year-old can feel very old is at a Backstreet Boys concert. I've been to two and an autograph signing and believe me it's not a pretty sight. If I was a driver I'd hijack the family car and come pick you up, otherwise if you just want a friendly face at the airport, give me a shout. As for actual fare prices, Drea would be more of an expert. Other than cabs, you can also get on the Airport Express bus for a nice expensive fare (12.50?) and get it to drop you off at the bus terminal which is a subway stop south of the Ramada. There's also the GO bus, which is about $4.00, if you can find the stop *g* and drops you off at either Yorkdale or York Mills, both subway stops. If you've not got a lot of luggage I'd reccomend just hopping on one of the buses. For TTC (subway) directions.. well i'd need a map, and the address of the hotel again. If anyone wants to know, just post and I'll make more of an effort *g* Fiona "I'm SO a Dave's people if it weren't for Mike..." - -Marie-Claude Nov 16/98 - -----------== Posted via Deja News, The Discussion Network ==---------- http://www.dejanews.com/ Search, Read, Discuss, or Start Your Own ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 17 Jan 1999 04:49:13 GMT From: Krista Subject: Re: stuff and stuff Mindy J Munson wrote these wise words: > > > Naw, the Spicies dont get sick (well not from cold anyway). My Lord, that's almost like a crime against humanity! But I have to agree to a certain extent. Although I love the Beatles, I am a little...well, tired of them (except for Abbey Road, which is one of my favorite albums of all time). I mean, they were incredible, but there are a lot of current bands which are incredible too. The Beatles were great, but they were not the be all and end all. The world has continued to revolve, despite their breakup. I think it's time for some people (specifically my mother) to move on. Oh yeah, how do I place a vote for this thing and how does it apply to > me? (I dont think I get this station, but I will help the band in anyway > I can) Go to the origninal VOTE FOR MOXY thread (sent by Paul I believe), and click on the link. You'll be magically transferred to the CD Now Empire, where you can vote against such monstrosities such as Kylie Minogue being considered the best artist of 1998. I don't get the station either, but we have to do what we can to help promote our good taste :-). ---Krista--- ------------------------------ End of alt.music.moxy-fruvous digest V3 #40 *******************************************
