My band, NEAR, will be playing at the Fire & Water this weekend in Northampton, MA, on Saturday (Dec 12) at 9pm on a co-bill with Chaz Sharp. If you live in the area and are interested in hearing some sweet, moody chick rock, please come! Only three of us will be playing--me on guitar, Cullen McEwan on violin and Chelsea Lagos on lead vocals. Our bass player and drummer are sitting this one out. Actually, they would probably have to sit elsewhere anyways cuz it's tiny in that place!! Would love to meet any and all Fruheads... Actually, this isn't necessarily so. I looked at flights from BWI to LA, and although the issue for me is lack of vacation days, it's possible to get a round trip ticket leaving 1-6, returning 1-7 for the paltry sum of $208.
