Have I missed one? Actually, there has been one (unplanned though *g*). At the Minneapolis show this past Oct., Mike launched into Secret Agent Man while Dave was switching instruments. Jian looked at Murray, shrugged, and then the two of them joined in *lol* I don't know what was going through Mike's mind at the time (as there wasn't any banter going on that would've led into that song), but they did a good job :) Drea "Everyone's a novelist, and everyone can sing...but no one talks when the tv's on.." - -----------== Posted via Deja News, The Discussion Network ==---------- http://www.dejanews.com/ Search, Read, Discuss, or Start Your Own ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 20 Nov 1998 22:57:47 -0500 From: Sheryl Stoller Subject: Re: Tying in the Name-That-Kate thread... Well, with just 3 or 4 months left before Früvous records the new album I've gotta comment on the new songs that I know of: Sad Girl - This is such a great song, the first time hearing it I was entranced by it's truth. It really seems like a song I would put on repeat for hours after being dumped... Sleepy Drinker - I really enjoyed this song even though it's sound at the beginning is similar to Sad Girl. Just one of those tunes I would sit back and relax with. It's too bad it had such a short lived life... I Will Hold On - I am simply going to say this is a damn good song. Sitting on the floor at Media Play hearing this song for the first time, I knew I would be hearing MUCH more of this song, otherwise I would be *really* upset! Pisco Bandito - What a fun song! This kind of song is what makes Moxy who they are. Sure a group can perform all the lovey-dovey, from the heart songs they want, but I find a group more enjoyable with songs such as this thrown in the mix... I haven't yet heard Half As Much or Grudge, maybe at Clinton(fri) or Montreal. (Along with Gulf War Song) *wink* Those are the new Früvous songs that I have heard of (excluding covers). Am I missing any? WOW - would you look at that! An entire post of Frücontent =) [sorry, I'll try to contain myself next time.] later, tom. ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 20 Nov 1998 23:10:35 -0500 From: Sheryl Stoller Subject: Re: Greetings from Noho, MA On Fri, 20 Nov 1998 winnecke@my-dejanews.com wrote: > Oh, and just as an aside: I am a Smithie, aspiring astronomy major, flutist, hi julie!
