Oh wow. Toronto is a GREAT city to spend a weekend in! (Hmmm, and I grew up where?!) The Eaton Centre is great, but I find that it's just a bunch of the same old shops, just conveniently located in one place. But check it out anyway. The Hockey Hall of Fame is downtown as well, and it's a pretty cool thing to check out. Along those lines, the Art Gallery of Ontario and the Royal Ontario Museum are MUSTS (especially the ROM. I love the ROM) The Science Centre is also great, but you have to have a car to get to it (or be willing to spend great amounts of time on the TTC in order to get there, and I don't have the patience for that.) 'cause it's not downtown. Take a tour of Maple Leaf Gardens. Go up the CN Tower and see all of Toronto at once. Head over to the Toronto City Hall (it's a wonder of architecture!) and see Nathan Phillips Square. This'll also put you right close to CityTV/ Much Music. Oh, and before going to the McLaughlin Planetarium you might want to check to make sure it's open. Funding cuts shut it down during Rae times, and I don't know if it was opened up again (but I hope so) Most importantly, if you want to see Toronto, just take a walk around downtown. (It'll be February - bundle up) Toronto has so many neat things to see - you just have to wander around and find them. Just throw around words like Spector and groovin' and melodic and say things like "What? Dave was playing a solo? I didn't notice. The bass line was really groovin'" or "Mike threw what?!? Amanda: The Spector sounded good tonight. Murray: Hey, thanks. Amanda: Yeah, really groovin' and melodic[2] Murray: I appreciate it. I kinda missed the root a couple times in Boo Time, when I was changing positions quickly, but I only played the fourth on the downbeat once, so it wasn't too bad. Amanda: And your shirt complemented the quilted coral look of the Spector very well[3] [1] Name dropping causes immediate correlation with existing bass lovers [2] By now, it sounds like you know what you are talking about with those hep bass words [3] Bingo!!
