I think the Post Office must eat Quills for breakfast (very tasty with milk and strawberries.) The one I received was the *3rd* one Jude tried to send me. And even then, according to the postmark it took 18 days to go from Toronto to Philadelphia, a distance of perhaps 450 miles. - -- Lori (or just email me privately with the same info, and I'll pick one up for you at Wilmington. :) ) ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 03 Nov 1998 20:10:56 GMT From: hKatherine@ehmail.com Subject: Re: alt.music.moxy-fruvous digest V1 #906-907 In article <3c9dce50.363e51f0@aol.com>, Srm9988n@aol.com wrote: > Later in that post I noted that I was both a hippie and a dork, so I > guess by Lizzie's logic that makes me dippy. I haven't posted an interpretation, and I don't intend to. This song does strange things to me and my interpretation is very fluid. It changes each time I listen to it, depending on my own circumstances at the time. I also find what interests me most are the aspects of meaning that tend to hover just beyond my conscious comprehension. Something in that song communicates meaning to my subconcious and I find myself going "yes, yes, exactly!" but can't explain why. *Shrug* I think this is only making sense to me, but then I think that fits in with the song very well. :) - -- Trace gemini@p3.net "I'm not clever enough to be unintelligible." - -Jane Austen, "Northanger Abbey" "It would have to be the most inglorious death of all, 'The Bathroom Accident.'" - -Murray Foster, on the preferred manner of death for Fruvous publicity. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 03 Nov 1998 20:23:04 GMT From: wahrend@my-dejanews.com Subject: Re: No No NoHo In article <71nd9e$k0q$1@nnrp1.dejanews.com>, Marie.Claude@canada.com wrote: > the pre-story: ME: hi, I'm bill *odd look*, "wild" bill *enlightened look* YOU: Nice to meet you ME: hey the scarlet letter, that was the dullest book I was ever forced to read. what a snoozer.
