It was a joke about the "Down From Above" video, (well the makeup and high heels bits were) and really basically all videos after Stuck in the 90's. Much Music has played Get in the Car all of once but that's it. I believe it was Jian who said the bits about high heels and how "we don't do videos" and Murray was the one mentioning the "secret video collection". At the moment I'm too "shit I can see something fruvous related pre-February" to care. The Norbals was a prizewinner in the 1997 Herman Voaden National Playwriting Competition of Queen's University. Written by Brian Drader and directed by Katherine Kaszas it is part of the Canadian Stage Company's repertoire this season. Opening night is Nov 12th (that's this coming Monday) at the St. Lawrence Centre. Previews start Nov 9th and it runs to Dec 12th. Canadian Stage Boxoffice is 416-368-3110. I know *I'm* going, what date will the rest of you be coming up? (Anyone with a predisposition to talking during a play should probably not sit close to me. I tend to inflict bodily harm on those individuals.) From the Canadian Stage Company webpage http://stage-door.org/canstage.html "A heart-warming, new comedy about a loving but dysfunctional family in the throes of a Christmas crisis, the Norbals will make you feel a whole lot better about those strange people you call relatives. Danny and Penny are broke, Randall is narcoleptic, Bee wants a sex change, Mom decides to celebrate Winter Solstice instead of Christmas … but Sean’s surprise outdoes them all!" ATTN WEST COASTERS: I just found this one too November 12 - 29 "The Norbals" - Prairie Theatre Exchange, (204) 942-5483 I'm not entirely sure it's the same play but those of you nearer Winnipeg than Toronto could always call and ask. *bounce* Fiona - -----------== Posted via Deja News, The Discussion Network ==---------- http://www.dejanews.com/ Search, Read, Discuss, or Start Your Own ------------------------------ End of alt.music.moxy-fruvous digest V1 #935 ********************************************
