We just had a few threads dealing with credited vocals (mainly on Video Bargainville) in which people questioned whether that was *really* Jian, and what a certain line *really* was. Then we started guessing at lyrics to "I Will Hold On" (and you have to pray they play this at IP, because it's gorgeous and it's not yet recorded). After all this ng speculation Jian made some rather pointed references at shows that yes that *is* his voice, and noted that our remembrance/comprehension of lyrics is less than stellar. Oh well. We gotta have something to talk about. - -- Lori "...When I am dreaming, I don't know if I'm truly asleep or if I'm awake And when I get up, I don't know if I'm truly awake, or if I'm still dreaming..." ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 01 Nov 1998 19:16:43 GMT From: Srm9988n@aol.com Subject: Re: my posts Bridget asked: > what the HELL is wrong with my quotation marks?+ACE-?+ACE-?+ACE-?+ I'm glad you cleared that up, Bridget -- I was just about to ask you what all those acronyms or commands meant :-) Hope you get the problem fixed. - -- Lori ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 01 Nov 1998 19:34:51 GMT From: Srm9988n@aol.com Subject: Re: "live" banter Nicole.the.wonder.nerd wrote: >>Now here's *another* topic almost guaranteed to tick Jian off, >You know, you're right. Very sunny and breezy-looking -- and hey, sad to say but lately my blonde's been from a bottle too. :( Can't wait to see you in ten...it's really only ten...I think I'll survive ten more...ten days, Ji! - -- Lori (dodging controversy once again ;P) ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 01 Nov 1998 19:21:20 GMT From: Srm9988n@aol.com Subject: Re: Saturday night show Cos offered: > For the curious... > > ... it was The Chia Pets, plus Dave. I don't think he was *really* mad. ;) Sorry I don't have much else to add to your quest, I've only heard them once live myself - -- Arbie "Brassman" or just Arbie on irc Reply address altered to discourage spammers, sorry for the inconvenience. arbie_fru@bc.sympatico.ca - ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- - ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ Date: 1 Nov 1998 19:56:01 GMT From: dalevy@aol.com (DALevy) Subject: Re: New... Um. I'm new here. Please don't bite me? :) I am a recent convert to Frustuff, having been hopelessly corrupted by a friend from Ontario (who then had the temerity to MOVE, to ENGLAND, so she couldn't send me CDs). So I had to find 'em myself. Lo and behold, I got _Wood_ and _B_ this weekend. I am pleased. I don't think you will be disappointed. It sounds like I missed an amazing show at the Iron Horse. Instead I spent Halloween with The Waltons in Toronto which I think is the next best thing. I can't believe that I actually pulled it off. Now, to ask for the big favors. I need to know who has pictures and tapes of the show, especially the proposal. If you have pictures and/or tapes , please let me know. I'd be happy to pay for copies and postage, etc. Just get in touch with me at MorpheusOB@aol.com and we can work out the easiest way.
