(Anyone who didn't watch Series III of the Real World (San Francisco) will have no clue what I'm talking about, so I'd just like to take this moment to stress that I *DO* know who Puck is and I'm not an illiterate boob.) Your eve'ning plans doth sound gay and wrought with visual delights! Wallow not in freakish misery, for thou art a NoHo-less soul with many a companion (5 or so). At the rise of the curtain, may the players dance and whirl in a manner not unlike the lads of Fru, and may the deft hand of Jim Henson weave a web of wonder about you and your brethren, the likes of which may cause Queen Mab to grow jealous. The rest of the weary few: fear not. We, too, will be bathed in the glories of harmony and jest 'till our sides burst nearly apart. Our time shall commeth. Whilst we wait in antisssssssss-ipation, may the candy flow freely like wine past the lips of Bacchus and may the music play, if not on a machine of sound projection, than in the beating flesh in our chests. Good night, good night, sweet friends. May the peace of the eve'ning pass you by, and the raucous laughter of pure joy capture your souls. Which cheezy Dracula movie aren't you watching? I mean, there are so many... :) But I always liked the Frank Langella one. If a vampire was gonna bite me, I'd want it to be Frank. Never heard of Adam Duncan? Ok, you've hurt my feelings. Also known as Scream...Ducnan McInterlog... ol-bark-hat-wearing-one... DOES ANYONE HERE KNOW ME?!?! ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 31 Oct 1998 23:12:59 -0500 From: "Mark Freeman" Subject: Original recording of Love Potion #9 I was in the process of transcribing the set list of a recent Fruvous tape I made which included a Love Potion Number Nine medley. I decided to search the net for a reference to the original recording of that song. I came across an unexpected issue. Depending on where I look, it says either the Coasters or the Searchers were the original artists, either in 1960 or 1965. Does anyone have any definitive information on this? I'd appreciate an answer via email, as I don't get to this newsgroup nearly as often as I'd like. For those so inclined, feel free to check out my web site and let me know what you think. http://home.columbus.rr.com/mfreeman/moxy.htm Thanks, Mark ------------------------------ End of alt.music.moxy-fruvous digest V1 #911 ********************************************
