I missed some of the original replies, but I seem to have stirred something up. Let me expain: I tried to send the message to the address that I had for "Hugo R." but it was bounced back to me, so in my haste to make sure that he got the message, and to make sure I got to work in time this morning, I came up with that brillant idea to just post it. For the record, the biggest mistake I made was making public something of Jian's. "The surprise" that some have mentioned is something that I'm planning, and although I'm upset that I may have ruined it for some of you, there's only one person I'm really concerned about keeping the surprise. Besides, I've posted before that I was going to do something that night, and wanted to make sure someone was taping, taking pictures or videotaping things. Hence, the present situation. Sorry if I ruined anything for anyone. Feeling way too much like a newbie, Tom ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 28 Oct 1998 18:05:13 -0800 From: Billy Subject: Moxy live on radio in Rochester NY Hi- My name is Billy.... I'm a huge Fruvous fan and a long time lurker (and occasional poster) to this newsgroup. I am also one of the producers of "The Brother Wease Morning Circus" on 96 WCMF Radio in Rochester NY. Moxy was on our show about a year ago and will be in studio with us again on Tues. 11/3/98 to perform and promote their show in town at The Harro East on 11/5 (I'll see you there). By the way, to clear up any confusion among the Rochestarians wondering why the Fru Four are on the classic rock station, there are a few of reasons: 1) I want them on because they are one of my favorite bands. 2) The rest of the people on the show want them on because they also enjoy the music and appreciate having witty well-spoken guests in the studio. 3) Our management lets them on because Wease's show is VERY successful for WCMF, so they let us do almost anything we want as long as we don't say "fuck", or any variations of it, on the air (we have a 7 second delay just in case). 4) The band wants to be on to promote their shows, sell some cd's, and hopefully gain some new fans. Our show is also very opinionated, funny, politically liberal and crude, so the guys in MF fit in pretty well. We are at 96.5 on your FM dial. Fruvous will be showing up at about 8am Tuesday morning and are welcome to stay until they get sick of us and want to leave... we're on until 11am. I hope you tune in. I'm really excited. Can everyone kep it from Rachel? She's not on the ng, but will be at teh show, and probably on line outside. So, we gotta all kinda remeber not to mention it at all. Please. DOn't make me regret my mistake any worse than I already do.
