Actually, I like the idea. If all works out, then by the time of NoHo, I'll have something a bit more distinct than a name tag. I actually do like that idea! If only because there will be people there who I only know by their IRC handles.... posting names.... etc..... I usually don't forget a face, but I never remember a name. :) > I'd feel silly showing up and being the only person with one, > though...... Well, I'll introduce myself here and now: I'm the short chad. That's why I use the little c. You can recognize me because I am *only* 6'2" (you can figure the metric out yourself). :) - -- chad@ radix.net ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 23 Oct 1998 22:02:41 -0400 From: Chad Schrock Subject: Re: OT-RE: This could get interesting... I don't know about all of you, but I have a pretty bad memory when it comes to things like this. Regardless, I don't know what I'll be wearing...but um... OK! I have a question! How early should I get there? This is probably better suited for a Violent Femmes group but...How early should I get there if I want to be in the first row of people? (which I have to be dammit!) I've been to Irving before, so I sort of know the score, as the kids say. Jordan "The devil made me do it!"- Barney Rubble "My mind was going 100 seconds per hour..."MTV's Jesse Camp. I was thinking the other day... While "One Night in Bangkok" would be a perfect cover for Früvous, there is one other song I would love to hear them do acapella: "Oh Canada." With the way they harmonize and blend their voices, I think that they would do an incredible job with that song. (Hey, I think of stange things in the morning, before I have my shower and some food. I was thinking of the last time I was at Epcot Center and the surround movie in the Canadian building and the awesome way the movie and music work together, then of course I thought about Früvous and the two just sort of clicked together.) Do you think that they would come to Baltimore again and sing the national anthems for the US and Canada at an Orioles game when they play Toronto? :) - -- chad@ radix.net ------------------------------ End of alt.music.moxy-fruvous digest V1 #858 ********************************************
