So maybe they are/were Flyers fans? Well, except for Mike they'd have been about 6 years old back in the Bullies days, so I think it's iffy they were Flyers fans then. But they are from metro-Trawnto, just like Eric, so maybe that's the connection there. And I guess as kids they could have been aware of the Flyers' less-than-welcome antics in their city (I think van Impe was one of the guys who actually was arrested and tried for assault after a brawl at Maple Leaf Gardens.) But you know, anything's possible with Fruvous. - -- Lori ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 23 Oct 1998 15:44:14 -0500 From: Josh Drury Subject: Re: Review: Bloominton & NKU (very long) Vika Zafrin wrote: > > Josh Drury delighted us with: > >Is it not also true that breaking someone's tape recorder would be > >vandalism, therefore also illegal? It was also great that the Worms got the last public laugh by putting Früvous into Big Fat Road Manager at their evening show. :) (Or at least I think it was the last laugh....my memories are fading after all this time!) :) Andrea Krause "Every jumbled pile of person has a thinking part that wonders what the part that isn't thinking isn't thinking of." - They Might Be Giants ------------------------------ Date: 23 Oct 1998 22:02:34 GMT From: jianbabe@aol.com (JianBabe) Subject: Re: New Year's Eve...? >after being banned from the Phila. >> Folk Fest (honestly, some people have no sense of humor). Interestingly, his set at Falcon Ridge Folk Festival in '97 was fantastic, and very much appreciated by a receptive open-minded crowd... and yet he's banned from that festival too. Scary.
