I didn't see this post until after I'd already written mine. However, I'd like to dispute Inbar's recommendation: On Sat, 10 Oct 1998, Ofer Inbar wrote: > To get there from DC, I would take I-95 to the NJTP to the Garden > State Parkway to I-87 north, aka the New York Thruway. Trust me: Follow I-83 and I-81 to Syracuse, then go east and take the Clinton exit (N.Y. 233) off the Thruway. - -- "I wish EVERY day could be a shearing festival!" -- The 10 Commandments =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+ Keith Ammann is geenius@albany.net "I notice you have a cloud of doom. Katonah is in Westchester County, 20 minutes north of White Plains on I-684. Ithaca, home of Cornell University, is an hour and change south of Syracuse via I-81 and N.Y. 13. Clinton is just southwest of Utica, a little less than an hour east of Syracuse. It has its own exit off the Thruway (N.Y. 233). In answer to the specific question asked, Clinton is almost exactly seven hours' driving from Washington. Take I-83 and I-81 to Syracuse, then go east on the Thruway.
