I followed the link on the Tour Dates page to the Wilmington Folk Survivor show. I was looking at the directions from Baltimore and noticed that you head up I-95 to US202 North towards West Chester. Am I wrong or isn't West Chester west of Philadelphia? I may be out of perspective here because when I'm going up to the Philly area I often take route 1 to 202 North and that goes right into Pennsylvania away from Delaware. If anyone could clear this up I'd appreciate it. Thanks! Yeah, just like US40 through Baltimore which is called Baltimore National Pike and it is a good area to get shot. Of course, it's called Pulaski Highway east of the city which seems like a good area to find a strip joint. It's amazing how these same roads stretch so far... - -Matt - -- - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Matt James Voice: (301) 231-9898 x. 121 TYC Associates email: mjames@tyc.com Rockville, MD alternate: mattj@charm.net http://www.tyc.com - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ Date: 9 Oct 1998 17:09:09 GMT From: elrond@fellspt.charm.net (Matt James) Subject: Re: Nov 11/Baltimore info Chad Schrock (chad@radix.net) wrote: : Well, with the tickets to NoHo selling out and the tickets to the : Wilmington show selling fast, I figured that now was a good time : to get tickets to the upcoming show in Baltimore (yaaay!). : Anyway, they are playing at a club called "The Vault." The main reason I remember Fruvous playing on November 9 in my hometown is that it is also my birthday! I'll be 24 years old and serenaded by Moxy Fruvous music! I'm guessing you were thinking of the Wilmington, DE show which is on November 11. I'm not sure if I'll make it to this one... - -Matt - -- - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Matt James Voice: (301) 231-9898 x. 121 TYC Associates email: mjames@tyc.com Rockville, MD alternate: mattj@charm.net http://www.tyc.com - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 09 Oct 1998 12:08:26 -0500 From: Chad Maloney Subject: Re: Urbana show Donald Garner wrote: > > first post----I just stumbled upon this group. > > I drove up to Urbana from Indianapolis and had a great time, it was > my first Moxy show and I was very impressed. They've only played Bloomington twice before and I think the first time it was during the summer, so no college student turnout. They've been playing Champaign Urbana for awhile, so the grassroots have grown up and started pushing them out of the smaller venues, which is great. The first Bloomington (which was my first Fruvous show for those counting) had around 60 people there at most. The next one probably had double that and I hope this time it'll be even more. I'm hopefully dragging work people out too, so if Dave has an IBM joke, it'll be interesting to say the least *grin* And Welcome, Donald. I'm an Indianapolis Fruhead myself. We are in a very nice position amidst many interstates and shows within a couple hours. A very Fruvously advantaged location. - Chad ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 9 Oct 1998 13:45:18 -0000 From: "pam :)" Subject: Re: Urbana show Donald Garner wrote in message <8495-361DC915-1@newsd-171.iap.bryant.webtv.net>... > first post----I just stumbled upon this group. > I drove up to Urbana from Indianapolis and had a great time, it was >my first Moxy show and I was very impressed.
