Like, I *knew* that already -- and I really don't give a hoot about "mean" elevation. A point is a point, not an average of all points. What I asked is, what is the *Highest* *Lowest* point. As in, which state has as its lowest point a place higher than every other state's lowest point. For example, California has the Lowest Lowest Point, in Death Valley (282 feet below sea level.) And Alaska's got the Highest Highest Point, obviously, Mt. McKinley, and the LHP is now infamous. I was just trying to finish off the foursome the Frulads started ... and for this inquisitive intellectual exercise all I get is grief! ;) And yes I did read the FAQs. It was suggested that this be posted as an aside on the FAQ page. As the perpetrator of The Question this time, I humbly submit it for your consideration. I just recently got Rant and Roar for my birthday and must say that they are one of the most talented bands I've heard (besides Fruvous of course - see there is Fru reference after all!!). Their blend of folk, rock and irish is about the best I've heard yet. With out you guys, I would never have heard about these guys or their great blend of music. I'm looking forward to the day I'll be able to see them live (still grumbling about last week). ok, enough gushing and back to Fruvous. thanks again Amy "It's not forbidden to be what you are. I'll gonna try to refrain from a complete gush-fest here but I just have to say how completely fun that was!!! The Nields were great, the guys were great, and all you folks in the audience were especially great... sorry, I was just having flashbacks of being groped by drunk guys at a Barenaked Ladies concert last December... What a nice, civilized and FUN bunch o' folks you all are! Thanks for a grrrr-eat time!
