I called the office, but the lady there said that all they knew is that Fruvous would be there sometime tomorrow afternoon and that they would play something live or something. She said that I could probably find out more if I called back tomorrow. If anybody wants to know, the WEBX office phone is 355-2694 and the WEBX studio phone is 355-9935. I am a font of information. And since I didn't post my Frumenu yet, here it is: Appetizer: guacamole (recipe directly from Mexico) and hand-made tortilla chips Bread: A nice crusty Italian bread served with olive oil with crushed fresh tomatoes and garlic in it Salad: Mixed greens with gorgonzola, toasted pine nuts, vidalia onion, grapes, and a balsamic vinagrette Entree: Salmon fillets marinated in ginger-sesame marinade and grilled outside on the grill Side dishes: Asparagus with a mustard sauce; mashed new potatoes Dessert: Well, my sister's a pastry chef, so I'd be really tempted to cheat and have her make her chocolate decadance cake (from the pastry shop that regularly wins "Best of Philly"), but I think I'd have to make either cheesecake (no toppings!!) or carrot cake (with pecan-caramel filling and cream cheese icing, covered with toasted coconut), both of which are the best desserts I've ever made and have converted people who claimed they didn't like either of those items! I actually have been collecting recipes for years with the thought of putting together a cookbook at some point...this would be a good starting point! Also, according to my very very American Websters Unabridged Dictionary, "PAN" is a Scottish dialectic verb meaning, "to join; to fit together." However neat it would be for the boys to use Scottish dialect in their songs, I'm quite certain that they are singing about videos that have been slaughtered one way or another by critics, like, say, "Waterworld." Hope this helps. Heather Moore (like Andrea, a TMBG fan) John Flansburgh sez: "Everybody Conga! I'm not fucking kidding!" The most common use of a pan is to keep the subject within frame." I guess now I can say that the stuff I learned in "Films of Hitchcock" in college came in handy -- or at least the textbooks I bought. ;-) Christine. - --Chrissy_K on irc *^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^ Christi218@aol.com & bh108@freenet.buffalo.edu - --Diet soda? - --No thanks. I almost forgot about that. I'll attempt to get it on tape, and assuming I do, I'd be happy to make copies. I remember the interview from the Fall '97 tour lasted something like 45 minutes and was mostly the Frulads talking, so this should be good.
