Wow, I had no idea that was the Nields' doing. I'm disappointed. Wish I could go to one of the shows where the order is reversed, and see how the guys handle that. > After the show we talked to a few people... The Pisco shirts ROCK!! i'm > very very impressed! :) You saw the Pisco shirts? Cool! I'm gonna have to figure out some kind of marketing strategy for those...the whole band and at least one total stranger have put in requests for them. You want a transfer? E-mail me and I'll quote you a price (cheap, but gotta cover the cost of the paper). > Jian talked to us again... did i mention the he rocks my world? :P You did, at the show...I knew immediately that was you up there :) Is there any (at least mostly) straight chyk whose world Jian does not rock? Man, he is fine. (And my husband is so cute when he's jealous.) ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 05 Oct 1998 14:28:31 GMT From: Amy Schrader Subject: Re: Recipe book? Aye! I guess I'm weird, because I often find myself teasing average height women for being short when they want me to do something because I'm realatively tall. Tall women don't make me nervous at all in fact the extra height is quite nice. (You can look them in the eye insted of looking at the tops of their heads, and of course the um, ergonomics work out better.) Of course then I went and married someone who is 5'5", go figure! I only start to feel weird if a woman is seriously taller than me, but then ANYONE seriously taller than me makes me feel weird. AJ (who at 6'2" has a body-image of 5'8") PS. Yow Chad, Looking at you I never realized that you were that tall! On the downside, the mpls Barenaked Ladies show sold out in like two hours. And I did not get tickets. b. ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 05 Oct 1998 14:36:52 GMT From: "A.J. Jian did it with just accustic guitar at Frucon, plus, I believe they HAVE a piano at the Iron Horse. They play it on the tape of the first show there. I am now doing a little survey to see what people think about taking over a hostel for the weekend. Myself, Sheryl (Elise), Chrissy (K), and Fiona (Nafs) have all checked it out. On a scale of 1-10 of hostels it is about an 8.5 or a nine. It is less than a 5 minute walk to the rivoli and has great atmosphere and history. When you have a moment please go to www.globalbackpackers.com, and let me know if you would consider staying there.
