Maybe if they trek over to Halifax Doug can spread it up there, too? ;) hKate - -- "I'll have a smile... to go." -- Topon Das - -----------== Posted via Deja News, The Discussion Network ==---------- http://www.dejanews.com/ Search, Read, Discuss, or Start Your Own ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 02 Oct 1998 13:31:46 GMT From: nmwallis@yesic.com Subject: What would I Show? The list would be so long we would be there all night. I am sure it would be difficult to find a movie that none of the lads had seen before (unless you include some of the pathetic British films that I worked on). But...I think that Reefer Madness would be somewhere on the list along with maybe RoadKill. Now the Stick, Kit, Organ band has been compared with Morphine, another of my favorites. I really wish I could have seen that one. And hey, the guy said he saw one of the best live shows in recent memory. That's a pretty good review *grin* - Chad ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 02 Oct 1998 16:00:19 GMT From: tmbgirl@juno.com Subject: D-Town show tonight out of my lurking mode... There's a little article on the Nields in today's (October 2nd) Denver Post as well as a tiny bit on Moxy Fruvous in there... "Opening both shows is Canada's Moxy Fruvous, a satirical harmony group with a new in-concert release out, "Live Noise" (Bottom Line/BMG)" oddly enough there's an article in there about Laura Love... another band that Sarah introduced me to... :) Anyways, I'm planning on going to all three Colorado shows this weekend... which means I'm only gonna be driving for about 11 hours... If anyone else is going (i've heard that like 2 people on here are gonna)... tonight, I'll be in a group of about 7 people (obnoxious giddy people). I'll be toting the backpack with the Moxy Fruvous patch, Mono Puff patch, and the TMBG "man" patch... Swallow Hill is a reeeeally little venue so it shouldn't be hard to find me if you so wish to do so... we'll be in line waaay early cuz well... we just can't think of anything better to do. I'm prolly gonna bootleg the show if all is ok with them... take it easy, JOrdaN http://www2.netcom.com/~arnot/joda/bootlegs.html http://members.tripod.com/~tmbgirl/index.html ___________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail.
