Aren't we nice to everyone except Jian[1], who we piss off so much by spouting inaccuracies about the band and hyping the bass player? Oh, that's just me. Sorry *grin* I heard some murmurs of getting old Quills in PDF format on FDC, so you can download them and print them if you want. Did that murmuring go anywhere? I might be able to make PDF's from the Quill. I'll see what I can do with the newest Quill and get to everyone. An explanation of the PDF format on FDC (which is just funny): FDC is Fruvous Dot Com, but you all knew that already, didn't you? PDF is a document format that is pretty small and can have pictures and everything in it. My company distributed documentation for our software in PDF format, so we probably have the programs that make PDFs. You can then download a plugin for netscape that will put PDFs in your web browser and then print all nice. Of course, I've heard that older Quills are larger, so it might be harder to do. What do you all think? - Chad [1] Joking. That's a joke. Funny joke. I was wondering if there is ANY WAY HUMANLY POSSIBLE to get ahold of one. And you know that spiders taste bad how, exactly? My cat is quite keen on the taste of spiders. Apparently. Moxy Fruvous content? Good heavens, is this a Moxy Fruvous ng? I forgot. I really like them too. All I have right now is Double Live, a two disc live set from I don't know when. I bought it in Toronto last year during Frucon. Those CDs just seem so cheap when you don't really know how to convert from Canadian money to US Dollars =) I'm sure I'll come back with many more after the next Frucon... As for type of music, hmmm, I don't like categories. They are more or less a rock band to me, but with good lyrics. It isn't pop at all. I do know that I get the Ballad of Wendell Clark in my head a lot. "Who's your favorite hockey player?" "Oh, that's a tough one. Hmmm. Lemmee see" "What song are we playing?" "Ah! My favorite hockey player is Wendell Clark!" The Rheos homepage is: http://www.drog.com/rheostatics/start.html Hope that helps. - Chad ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 29 Sep 1998 15:15:18 GMT From: gemini@p3.net (Trace) Subject: Re: Where you least expect them (offish) On Mon, 28 Sep 1998 15:48:31 GMT, gemini@p3.net (Trace) wrote: >Here's a non-fruvous post. [sly grin] I later realized that this could add an interesting dimension to the "six degrees of separation" game, as BNL could be connected to people in other mediums. Sergei Fedorov of the Wings used to date Russian tennis start Novotna (I forget her first name); and Alexandre Daigle of the Flyers has been linked with both Alannis Morrisette and Pamela Anderson (at least through a dinner date).
