I was staring at the enveloppe yesterday going, "A Quill? Improbable. But what would the Fruvous Headquarters want with me? What did I do?" Did I piss off someone and he's asking me by mail to quit? To cut it out and find another band to adopt? Maybe Tobey got ticked because I stepped on his head. Who knows. So with trembling hands and an accute feeling of dread, I bravely opened the enveloppe and found myself face to face with Quill #13 (btw, that number can't be good -- bad news for the ruble). I was a happy Quillster. But more to the point, I love the idea of a Fruvous hockey jersey. They'll really come in handy at next year's Heritage River Music Fest in Burks' Falls ;) You're dead, Matheson! - -- Marie-Claude "I'm beside myself. Strange -- I wanted to start a thread (whack me now) about misunderstood lyrics not two days ago... (That's what you mean, right? I have no idea what "mondegreens" means -- excuse the French girl.) First off: is it true that Moxy permits "bootlegging" of their shows? I wouldn't ask this next question if I hadn't heard it was so.... Second: is anyone planning on taping the Chicago show on the 10th that could share a good copy with a fellow Frufan? I and at least two of my friends are unavailable to go to Chicago that weekend, and would love to know what we're missing. We already have a CTV affiliate (BCTV) which carries the standard CTV national news etc. VTV *seems* to be more of an independent (but you still may be right) - -- Arbie "Brassman" on irc Reply address altered to discourage spammers, sorry for the inconvenience. arbie_fru@bc.sympatico.ca - ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- - ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 29 Sep 1998 10:04:00 -0400 From: Geenius at Wrok Subject: Re: Anyone for a game of Chess? I think the only discs you'd be able to find in the US would be Introducing Happiness and Whale Music, as they were both released on Warner/Sire (I think!?). Whale Music is my absolute favourite.
