Jude, Would it be possible to do something similar for me? (please please please please, with sugar on top) I'll be in the same type of situation come the beginning of october... BTW: I'm going to the urbana show, who else is planning on attending? If anyone from the Chicago area, I can offer back seat space... And now your regularly scheduled ng thread. Apparently, there is a Tim Hortons in Cape Breton (?) and I did not know this but it is a donut shop. Anyway, they put up a glowing Jesus sign on their building and everyone is driving by and gawking at it. Pretty wacky. Also, Tim Hortons is owned by Wendy's, so in a way I guess it is American. - -Matt - -- - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Matt James Voice: (301) 231-9898 x. 121 TYC Associates email: mjames@tyc.com Rockville, MD alternate: mattj@charm.net http://www.tyc.com - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 25 Sep 1998 17:53:21 GMT From: Amy Schrader Subject: non-fruvous announcment!! OK, another band that I guess is big with many people here is Spirit of the West. I was told that they are a bit on the celtic side -so that is a big plus :-) Anywho, it was just recently announced that they will be playing on Oct 10 at the Showplace Theatre in Buffalo. Seeing as i just found out that I can't see GBS when they come next week (...not bitter...not at all....), I'm hoping to catch these guys. Anyone else interested? back to Fruvous...... My bud and I are planning to trek out to the 10/9 Middleton show. Then I happened to look at fruvous.com and see that the show is 21+. Can someone who knows Club Tavern tell me how strict they enforce this policy. Also, does anyone have ideas as to how to get around it? Thanks. - --Jamal Rogers rogers@ac.grin.edu "You sound like a stalker.
