I can't go all the way up to San Francisco though unless it's a group I'm a HUGE fan of, and at the moment, considering I don't have any M.Fruvous albums I can't really get my dad to take me up there. =P - -- - ---------------------------------------------- Rich Bunnell or "Metal Man," whichever sounds more insane - - "This is your life and you do what you want to do, just don't hurt nobody, unless they ask you" -XTC - - "Do you have a special something you take to bed with you? There are a bunch of places in the neighborhood to eat but I don't have first-hand experience with most. Twenty Tank Brewery across from Slim's has very good beer and respectable food. There's a place at 10th and Folsom called Hamburger Mary's that I hear is good (Chelsea Clinton goes there, so Mike might need to be careful about his lines in Minnie!) There's also a fun bar called Mars Cafe a few blocks away that has good food and great martinis (I think it's 7th and Bryant). I know there are other places, too, but I'm not familiar with them all yet. As for parking, I'm not sure what to suggest. There isn't much street parking. There are two lots that I've seen--one on 12th just north of Folsom and another a block south of Folsom at 11th. But I don't know anything about them other than that they are there. The neighborhood is relatively safe, as it's where the late-night clubs are. Having said that, I would discourage walking alone. (Incidentally, some of the street people may help you find a parking space. They will expect a tip.) If I get more details, I'll re-post. I'd be interested in peoples' interpretation of this song as well. Been listening to it since the CD came out, and can't quite figure it out(then again, I'm not a very "right brain-ed" person). Neil who stumbled upon Bargainville in a used CD store, bought it by accident(thought it was a different group I was told about), didn't listen to the CD for four months, until decided to sell it back. Listened to it out of curiosity on the way to the used CD shop, loved it, longed for more. Never been to a show, but October they're playing at Northern Kentucky University, and I'll be there. I promise. I hope... ------------------------------ End of alt.music.moxy-fruvous digest V1 #660 ********************************************
