Was there also a Biff?? During the WBRS interview that Cos was talking about, Fruvous went off into this whole, Britishy "Biff and Stig" routine, and now I'm thinking that maybe it came from the Rutles... I only know the Beatles and the Monkees - I feel cheated, sinc e it sounds like they were during my youth, as well.. *hmph* - -Zard "www.washme.com" - seen on the back window of a filthy station wagon, heading to Owen Sound, ON ------------------------------ Date: 18 Sep 1998 05:38:43 GMT From: zardsnod@aol.com (ZardSnod) Subject: Re: Name tags for NoHo? That being said, I'll BE SURE to point Hugo out to all and sundry. Well, Autumn, I don't know Baltimore well, but I've seen Fruvous at Fletcher's a number of times, and most of them have been unpleasant - not the shows, but the place and the audience (rude, in general). You don't think the Vault will be better than Fletchers?? They played at 8 X 10 a couple of times (I saw them there once) and it wasn't too bad. But (sigh..) with so MANY great venues in DC, wouldn't a two-night gig down here be better than a crappy venue in Baltimore?!? /me says, having just seen Great Big Sea at IOTA, a 5-minute walk from her house..
