I really like that one, though it does not make my Top 5 Frusong list. What is in that list, you might ask? Good question. I'll let you know when I figure it out! ;) Fly and the Drinking Song are always in there, though the other three are subject to change without notice. (Pisco Bandito? Gord's Gold? hmmm...) Like a few others here, I have trouble with the Grunge of Spain; that's the one I inevitably skip on the new CD. The thing grates on my nerves. So do Get in the Car & Medicine Show, to add a couple more to the list of not well liked Frutunes. Her live shows are great too. Yay! Another Tori fan :o) It's funny, I was just listening to her latest cd when I read your message. But I've never seen her live, though. - -Myllie - -----== Posted via Deja News, The Leader in Internet Discussion ==----- http://www.dejanews.com/rg_mkgrp.xp Create Your Own Free Member Forum ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 12 Sep 1998 20:23:37 -0400 From: Autumn Patterson Subject: That big ol' list o' Tour Dates I couldn't help that notice Moxy Fruvous is playing in Baltimore on November 9th. My first reaction is YAY! A SHOW IN BALTIMORE! My next reaction was. Ack! It's at The Vault! I've been to the vault. It's an old bank with a few couches and a table set up in the corner to act as "the bar". Mostly really crappy bands that can't get a gig anywhere else play here. Perhaps the place will be okay if it's full of fruheads but I can't guarantee (? - i could never spell that word...) that will be so. I'm sure there is a better place in Baltimore for Moxy Fruvous to play. My house would even be better, in my opinion. And I'm not just saying that b/c I'd like Fruvous to play my house. I'm saying it because, frankly, I think the Vault sucks, and I think the band will be disappointed with it. Your only defence is to drink the first bottle real fast. The second bottle doesn't taste as bad ;p BTW the Greeks supposedly developed this wine when they tried to save their wine stocks from somebody who was invading them by putting pine nuts into the wine casks. It worked, the invaders went home without the wine. Course now they had to drink it.
