This was discussed on IRC last night and I figured I'd throw the question out to everyone...Considering the large number of Fruheads attending the IH shows, should we have name tags similar to those at FruCon? If nothing else, being able to put names to faces would be nice for those of us who are more, shall we say, 'isolated' from other Fruheads *g* (plus a big help to those of us with lousy memories for names *lol*) Speaking of isolated Fruheads, I think we should come up with a 'Dedicated Fruhead' award for Richard *g* Any suggestions? :) Drea Caffeine and Fruvous: the accounting student's keys to sanity... - -----== Posted via Deja News, The Leader in Internet Discussion ==----- http://www.dejanews.com/rg_mkgrp.xp Create Your Own Free Member Forum ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 11 Sep 1998 13:25:39 GMT From: thechrisl@REMOVE_THIS_NOWgeocities.com (chrisL) Subject: Re: All the Beatles Albums on one CD On Thu, 10 Sep 1998 15:04:57 +0100, "Scott" wrote: >for $15 or £10 I'll sell you a CD-R of every album and every single by the >Beatles. > >The songs are CD quality and in MP3 format, you will be able to load up any >Album by the beatles to play on your computer! > You'd better not let this get out or Michael Jackson will come after you with a glove full of lead, buddy. . . ;^) ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 10 Sep 1998 14:34:49 -0400 From: David Bailey Subject: Theft!....... was ......... That's what I figured when I saw it. ::Running to my CD rack for "Fire in the Kitchen" to make sure I give y'all the right info:: Okay. "Fire in the Kitchen" is a compilation album recorded by the Chieftains, with a variety of maritime Canadian artists. In addition to Great Big Sea, it features Leahy, The Rankins, Ashley MacIsaac, Natalie MacMaster, The Barra MacNeils, La Bottine Souriante, and some others. It's put out by BMG, and I bought my copy at good ol' HMV. It's... okay. I like it, but I don't love it. A few of the cuts are great, and a few I put on "skip" whenever I play the darn thing. Eh, life's a crap shoot, huh? Why should your music be any different? ******************************************************************** Sharon samoq@aol.com "Know thyself? That's my favorite variation. That's where you can put down whatever letters you want and it is valid as long as you can convince the other people playing that you can pronounce it like a real word. Things like: kwikli (quickly) prablim (problem) noc (knock) uth (youth) And of course it gets as wild as you can imagine once people get the hang of things and realize the potential of the X. You know, this is my second post about scrabble on the ng in two entirely different threads.
