Fruvous doing Bowie and Vance Gilbert will make for pleasant dreams. Did these appear on anyone's wish list? I haven't read them all. There wouldn't happen to be anyone out there who by chance taped this informal post festival jam. Does this happen every year in Ottawa? Seems as though the most special moments come when festivals concentrate on the music and not the performers. jude ( who will be going to bed now even though it is hours before her bed time just so she can dream) ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 01 Sep 1998 01:25:59 GMT From: chapinfan@my-dejanews.com Subject: Re: since ceecee asked, more shameless plugging In article <1998082523194500.TAA07254@ladder03.news.aol.com>, ourhamster@aol.com (OurHamster) wrote: > >The Bottom Line Encore Collection - Harry Chapin > > Please, oh *please* confirm that this collection would also have "10,000 Pounds > of Bananas". Its 30,000 pounds of bananas, and the version on Botoom Line is (IMHO) the best commercially available version. It includes the seldom heard "4th ending" Jay *If a man tried to take his time on Earth and proved before he died what one man's life could be worth I wonder what would happen to this World?* Harry Chapin 1942-1981 - -----== Posted via Deja News, The Leader in Internet Discussion ==----- http://www.dejanews.com/rg_mkgrp.xp Create Your Own Free Member Forum ------------------------------ Date: 1 Sep 1998 02:20:38 GMT From: jennifer@mail.durham.net (Jennifer Burnett) Subject: The Waltons All you walton fans. John Southworth "Rocks" in a kinda quirky pop sound. His lyrics are interesting and the music he plays fits with the images. I'm not very good at describing bands but if you are in the Toronto area John Southworth is playing at Clinton's on Bloor St. on Wednesday September 2nd. Check him out. Fruvous played at a fest. in Minneapolis, where Weird Al was also playing. They ended up meeting, because it turned out that Weird Al is a fan of theirs! Yes, Aleigh, you're among friends - there are plenty of DC/N. VA Fruheads around, and we look forward to meeting you when you and Fruvous are in the same town at the same time!! And may I just say that you should get it for the other songs as well - Bob Snider's got some brilliant songs, all in all, covered by some other great bands. :-) - -Zard "www.washme.com" - seen on the back window of a filthy station wagon, heading to Owen Sound, ON ------------------------------ Date: 1 Sep 1998 03:36:14 GMT From: zardsnod@aol.com (ZardSnod) Subject: Re: revised itinerary As quothe Jude: Here's an updated itinerary!
