"number three" and "rabid child" would be pretty cool too. Since they've already done dancing queen, I'd suggest "the winner takes it all" by ABBA. Probably one of the prettiest and most depressing break up songs in all of music history. Perhaps an acappella version of "breakfast in america" by supertramp? Just got a call from the NoHo box office, they say that the Oct. 30 show is going to be at 7:00 pm and not 8:30 pm. Just thought that I would pass that along since some people plan on driving which means you'll need to get up a little earlier. ;-) "wild" Bill - -----== Posted via Deja News, The Leader in Internet Discussion ==----- http://www.dejanews.com/rg_mkgrp.xp Create Your Own Free Member Forum ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 24 Aug 1998 15:05:19 GMT From: ceelove@ibm.net (Colleen Campbell) Subject: Re: NoHo time change On Mon, 24 Aug 1998 14:41:22 GMT, wahrend@my-dejanews.com wrote: >All. > >Just got a call from the NoHo box office, they say that the Oct. 30 show is >going to be at 7:00 pm and not 8:30 pm. Last I knew, Vika, Adam, and Gordon were pretty much in charge of this, and/or of finding out if accomodations for the lot of us were available or if we were just going to have to divy up. (I don't have a problem with the latter, in which case FruCasa would be housing a good many o' y'all.) What's the status on all that? Anyone? Second question is, are we going to get a bunch of tickets in bulk? Like, buy up 50 or somesuch and delivery as necessary? 'Cause it looks like these shows might sell out early. . . ceecee ------------------------------ Date: 24 Aug 1998 13:12:12 GMT From: Gruneberg Veronica J <6vjg@qlink.queensu.ca> Subject: Re: Kermit It's not for me... I already have the indie. I actually had to buy a second one around the release time of B-ville, 'cause I had worn through the tape and it was starting to sound really lousy. (I did the same thing with the tape I bought of BNL's Gordon) I just meant for those who've never heard it, and can't make it to 25 concerts... - -- ***************************************************************************** And in the end | Veronica Gruneberg The love you take | Dept. of Biology Is equal to the love | Queen's University You make... | Kingston, Ontario ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 24 Aug 1998 09:45:52 -0500 From: Chad Maloney Subject: Re: Great Big Sea Loren Becker wrote: > > > Hey-who!! So if it's a little late to make plans to fly to Halifax, don't despair - they'll do it again next year, and the picnics just keep getting bigger and better each year. If only Halifax weren't so far from Kingston...
