If someone's standing there staring at your shirt, how do >you know they're really reading the button?) Being a person who is known for wearing special t-shirts, I can confess that quite a few people will read a shirt. I have one shirt that has 9 or 12 jokes on it, and people will stand there and make me stand still until they've read them all. Some will also straighten out the shirt if there's one they can't see. Also, I have a jacket that carries my button "collection", and I've worn it a couple of times just to be weird. You'd be surprised how many people insist on reading *every* button! Then again, I think we should all just agree on a cryptic symbol to put on a button. Maybe something similar to this symbol: § (apologies to anyone who didn't see that symbol properly). Oh, and I think we should also learn a secret handshake. Then again, that's me... - --Novac "The early bird gets the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese." ------------------------------ Date: 22 Aug 1998 05:43:05 GMT From: ourhamster@aol.com (OurHamster) Subject: Re: Cover tune wish list >either one of my two favorite ben folds five tunes-- "kate," or "the >battle of who could care less." You are correct. According to Toby, GE&H was on early lists for likely Live Noise songs. The Seuss reps would apparently take pretty much everything, which isn't playing fair, but it's playing legally. Thus, go see them in concert every time you wanna hear GE&H :) - --Novac "The early bird gets the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese." ------------------------------ Date: 22 Aug 1998 07:13:27 GMT From: starfox@Bacon.Eggs.And.NOSPAM.nationwide.net (Starfox) Subject: Re: Beatles Fan? Also, though the two songs don't sound anything alike, from the conceptual set department, how 'bout "Your New Boyfriend" segued into TMBG's "Your Racist Friend"?
