Barring machinations from the gods, I will be attending the halloween shows up in northampton, so my question is this... who is the list keeper of those frus who need lodging and would like to split cost? I'd like to place my name on that list. I can't really speak for Starfox (although I have been working on my mental telepathy..) but I think he'll want to placed on the list as well. I also know that Angel and Sarah plan on going as well, so I'm sure they'd probably want to be around the rest of us too... The Drinking Song? As far as I know, they've never been to Ireland. At least, not as a group, touring. They did Scotland, England, and Denmark in '94 and, if I recall correctly, just England a year later. I'm too much of a slouch to go look it up properly. Anyway, the Drinking Song's been around since at least '92, when it appears on the indie tape, and that was quite a bit before they were touring internationally. ceecee, pedantic and schoolmarmish ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 20 Aug 1998 10:26:08 -0400 From: Geenius at Wrok Subject: Re: Thanks and questions On Thu, 20 Aug 1998, Colleen Campbell wrote: > On Thu, 20 Aug 1998 13:41:00 GMT, BBWMinors@aol.com wrote: > > >Q) Who does (or if it's more than one of them, who do) the voices such as: > >Spiderman, the Dr. Ruth-ian voice in MBLABOA, "Kermit" in KOS? I don't know who it is on the album, but Jian sings that part in concert. Jian also sings the part of the streetcar driver in concert, though it sure doesn't sound like him on the album. - -- "I wish EVERY day could be a shearing festival!" -- The 10 Commandments =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+ Keith Ammann is geenius@albany.net "I notice you have a cloud of doom. Well, that list of groups in the FAQ is just what I've noticed people discussing--not by any means all the good groups that we might collectively enjoy! There are scores of groups that have received mention on here (and every once in a while, threads start up on "what other groups do you listen to?"); I've just listed those that Fruheads seem to have shown a lot of interest in, especially those that might be difficult to find, as they're frequently not mainstream groups. >It looked like I might actually get to my first show but hopes have been >dashed -- I am flying from Las Vegas to Phoenix Monday, Sept. 28 and was ready >to detour through San Francisco that night, then learned that indeed the >Slim's show is Tuesday, not Monday. I agree 100% that most Früvous fans would find them very entertaining. You can hear a sample of them in real audio at www.bobs.com.
