Actually I'm not all the way back; I'm dialing in long distance to Davis and probably racking up quite a phone bill. (Anyone know any free BBS numbers that offer a full PPP connection, lemme know.) I went to a Club tonight, called, "The Daily Planet," and Had a great time. The Club is in Niagara Falls, Ontario. The DJ was taking requests, so I asked him if he had any Fruvous. I was disappointed that he didn't. I asked for some BNL, and he first played "Yoko Ono.' After that, he played Great Big Sea. I've never been to a dance club/bar that has ever played Great Big Sea. I was so excited!!!! Later, I went to my car, and grabbed my CD of Bargainville, and he played, "King of Spain." What a great DJ. I definitely will be back there next Tuesday. Maybe with a copy of bargainville for the club. Very cool Dan. It seems like every time I turn around I hear of people recruiting new Fruvous fans, if not actual Fruheads. Guess who crowded into the Speakers Corner booth and recorded a quick "play us on Much Music" promo recently? Rockapella! I saw the bit yesterday and I thought it was tres cool. Well, Nicole, I'd just hope that Jian gets to this thread, realizes your plight, and decides to add you to the guest list. Of course, this doesn't *necessarily* invalidate the age limitation, but I would guess that it will. It really just depends on if the bar/club is paranoid about "serving minorities", especially if they've gotten into that sort of trouble within the last year or so. And, if you do manage to get on the guest list, I'd try writing Jude to see if she could find out the place's rules about that. Every fool can see if "it is" substitutes properly or not. Right after the "there" problem is the horrible misuse of "your" and "you're". Grrr...and then, this one's hardly gramattical: "through" and "throw". Who mixes those up??? *sigh* Which reminds me of one of my stored quotes (which was a former sig of mine, too), though I'm not sure how much it could help someone who's already confused over the issue of "it's" and "its" :) "It's is not, it isn't ain't, and it's it's, not its, if you mean it is. If you don't, it's its. Then too, it's hers. It isn't her's. It isn't our's either.
