Go to: http://205.153.39.175/programs/atc/archives/1998/current.html I'm listening to it now & it is a wonderful interview. Linda Wortheimer seems to really "get" the band. Here I agree wholeheartedly. I first saw Fruvous live by accident.. twice. I was at the Hamilton Days of Action, and then at the Toronto Day of Action. I Love My Boss got rousing cheers, as did Today's The Day *g*. The Frulads write political songs, it would be actually be pretty lame if they didn't put some money where their mouths are. In this case I don't happen to agree with them, and I'm sure that they will understand when I stick to my beliefs instead of blindly going to any and every Fruconcert nearby. They're a great band but they're not THAT important. Poetry recommendations: Robert Browning's "Dramatic Monologues," Tennyson (except I still can't get through "In Memmoriam"), Keats, Shelley, Shakespeare's Sonnets, and Ginsberg's "Howl" (which amazes me with its intensity).
