Ditto on Strangers - one of my favorite books of all time & great to read while traveling. It's interesting to see all the science fiction fans on this list. I'm partial to Harlan Ellison, Theodore Sturgeon, J.G. Ballard & Ursula LeGuin myself. I recently finished rereading The Sparrow by Mary Doria Russell - an incredible book well worth seeking out. Happy reading/frutripping. Then YOU choose to go despite your beliefs and fully with the knowledge that you are supporting something you don't believe in. That's your choice. See, it's Fruvous and Friends for CHOICE *grin* > I think the point being made was that we would prefer shows that do not have to > do with causes. Look, the band chooses what they do with the money you give them. You believe in what you think so much that you won't attend a ProChoice benefit. Yet you try to talk Fruvous out of raising money for what they believe in. That's a pretty big double standard there, Novac. The Frulads are in a position where they can help a cause they believe in by pandering their wares and donating the proceeds. I admire them for taking their time out and using what they do to help people. - Chad ------------------------------ End of alt.music.moxy-fruvous digest V1 #301 ********************************************
