Oh well, you win some you lose some. I just wanted to point out that I, as a Canadian citizen, have crossed the border many times, and (on the return trip) have experienced anything from a wave through to a pretty thorough search. So don't take it personally - Canada Customs crustiness is pretty much a random event. Oh, and regarding the Smarties conversation - I LOVE them! Could eat my weight in the stuff... therefore donations will be cheerfully accepted :) (You only think I'm kidding) Patiently waiting for the next Canadian Fru-dates, Veronica - -- ***************************************************************************** Save the Whales | Veronica Gruneberg Collect the whole set! | 6vjg@qlink.queensu.ca | Queen's University ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 12 Aug 1998 19:31:31 GMT From: ceelove@ibm.net (Colleen Campbell) Subject: Hallowe'en lodging (doh, erased the thread) Vika being in California and all, we haven't had a chance to put our noggins together and figure out how many people we can put up at FruCasa for the Northampton weekend--or even if it'll be that necessary. If we get a house/apt/whatever for the weekend in Northampton itself (i.e., if Adam Hartfield, Gordon, etc, can get that lined up), believe me, *I'll* want to stay in Northampton! We'll letch'all know next week, I think, how many spaces we'll have available. It'll be a "bring a sleeping bag" sort of situation. It's not the Ritz, but we tend to have a good time. . . ceecee ------------------------------ Date: 12 Aug 1998 17:43:32 GMT From: Gruneberg Veronica J <6vjg@qlink.queensu.ca> Subject: Re: Summerfolk schedule - SATURDAY NOOOOOOO!!!
