If he's got a girlfriend, he's a closeted gay, and if he doesn't sleep with every chick who throws herself (& her cleavage) at the feet of his *devastating* sss...sexiness (mmMMmm...Jian...), he must be gay, right? Actually, that's only partially true :) (about Coke, I mean, not Richard Gere hehe) I don't have the book anymore, but Andrea (jkpolk) does. Cecil Adams, in one of his Straight Dope books (anyone staring blankly right now check out http://www.straightdope.com ), addressed this issue and called the boys at Coke up. There was a trivial amount of cocaine in Coke pre-1903, according to a Coke spokesman, no one really knows how much. In 1903, Coca-Cola swiched from fresh to "spent" coca leaves (ie., what is left over after the cocaine is removed). They also stopped advertising Coke as "a cure for what ails you" and simply promoted it as "a refreshing beverage". At any rate, any cocaine that may have been present at any time was completely negligible. Now coming from anywhere else I might be inclined to say "hogwash!" but Cecil Adams is the king of uncovering truths and debunking rumors. In fact, he knows everything and is never wrong.
