So, I will be the 6"3' guy with around 4 weeks growth worth of blonde hair, blue eyes, glasses, a black pouch, black shorts (with maybe some green), and a Dilbert t-shirt which says "Technology, no place for wimps" I can't wait to talk to everyone.... most people... anyone!!! :) Well then, see you at Burke's Falls, Life101 P.S. Go see Rick Fines!! P.P.S If you got this msg before, discard this copy, my prog is a little warped sometimes :) ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 06 Aug 1998 22:58:30 GMT From: seqiro@mail2.nai.net (Paul D. On my first trip to Montréal, they asked for SS cards or birth certificates for everyone in the car, asked a couple of questions, and I was on my way. It took me twice as long to get back home through US customs (they didn't believe I would drive from CT to Montréal for one day). On all of my subsequent trips to Montréal, they refused the SS cards and asked only for a driver's license or other form of picture ID. When I went to Toronto, they refused the driver's license and wanted to see a SS card or birth certificate. We had brought them just in case, but I mentioned to the really nice attendant (seriously, she was very friendly) that when I went to Montréal it was just the opposite, to which she replied with a nasty remark about the Québecois. :) So I've always been asked for I.D., it just seems to depend on which way the wind is blowing. Of course now the questions they ask msut include something new, I guess: "Do you have any weapons, drugs, alcohol, or Beanie Babies?" :) Paul - ----------------------------------------- Paul Beasi seqiro@ct2.nai.net http://w3.nai.net/~seqiro The spotlight guys got Iggy! -TMBG, Lupos Heartbreak Hotel 10/25/97 - ----------------------------------------- ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 06 Aug 1998 23:04:41 GMT From: seqiro@mail2.nai.net (Paul D. I suspect that Jablonski is going to be tough to beat, but this weekend will be my third cross-country Fru-trip this year. So I'll at least stake a claim for the bragging rights. It's a hobby, by the way, not a contest. Well, only after Fruvous . . . I am restoring a 1966 Dodge Dart named MiLady de Beast, affectionately known as MiLady. I brought her around to where the Lads were hanging out after the King of Prussia show to show her off, then was too shy to go babble about her. As Mike was leaving he yelled "Great Dodge Dart, she's a beauty!" or something like that. I almost fell off the trunk and hid behind her. I am also ashmed to admit that I froze so bad I didn't even wave. *blush* I hope Mike doesn't think i was being rude and obnixous. Why, oh WHY can't I be a normal human being around the band? *sigh* Ah well, back to the shadows . . . ladywench (Mike likes my car!!!!!)
