This is a great album by the way). I agree it's a great song and a great way to end a show. >absorbed next to nothing but warm fuzzy feelings and random bug bites. Cultural note: The skirt-wrap kind of thingy is commonly referred to as a kilt, and you can be sure the guy was a true Scotsman: you're *supposed* to wear nothing undearneath your kilt. No underwear. If you do that, you are referred to as being "regimental" -- this is how the Scottish clans wore their kilts hundreds of years ago, and the tradition is being carried on. I know what rumorville (even one that consists of people that *like* me) feels like. Just recently, I had the opportunity to feel that I was talked about (albeit in favorable terms) sort of "behind my back," that stuff about my personal life had been told to people I hardly know. It was all that much harder to deal with (I must admit, I was dealing with it for all of about 10 minutes, and then went on with my life) because I had expressly attached a "don't tell our other friends, I'll tell them myself" tag to the particular piece of information. So, right there, for those 10 minutes, I felt... well, naked, like my life was out there in the open (even though it wasn't). That was scary. Jian, Mur, Mike and Dave deal with this every single day. I can't imagine that, fully. Neither can anyone who isn't in their shoes. So how about we *don't* speculate on their personal lives, and when asking them questions, remember that if they're comfortable with us, they'll tell us stuff, but if not, we really shouldn't push? Now, granted, this is a newsgroup for *fans* of Moxy Fruvous, not for the Frulads themselves. But they (at least in part) do read it, so why not be a bit sensitive? My opinion (humble? hah!). Flames to me, please, not the newsgroup. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Vika [VEE-kah] Zafrin Patron Saint of Caffeine dacilen at bu dot edu aka Coffee Fru "You and your hula dance of culinary delight..." -ceecee ------------------------------ End of alt.music.moxy-fruvous digest V1 #195 ********************************************
