We were disappointed the Lads hadn't made an appearance to mingle, and you told us they had just come out. We were about to leave, so I've been very grateful to you ever since. I got all their sigs on Murray's set list that night, and I've "stayed after" to see them at every show I've been to since. So, thanks! Kris was hanging around Dave that night, as I recall, so that very well may be when he got the sig. > BTW, Kris dragged me to my first FruShow and abandoned me at the bar, where > I intended to hang out with the "cool people" and wait till the show's end. > By the end of the set, I was hooked. I sure hope my daughter is as willing to drag me around as Kris is with you, and I also hope I'm as willing to be dragged as you are. Ooops. What he means is that he asked me if it was spam-like and I told him I thought it was a fine thing to post. I don't want to seem like a gate-keeper or anything. Anyway, yeah, this is what I'm planning to do after the fruvous show at Quincy Market: see Thank Gladys. They're very funny, the price is low, the location convenient. Come join me! (is there a female voice mixed in there, or just mike doing falsetto?) while this version is *decidedly* slower than the frenetic concert version i've been exposed to, perhaps now i can finally enjoy every word of the lyrics (since they're not going by at johnnysaucepan-speed). how many other copies of this li'l tape are out there? it's not the *indie* tape, but a promo for bargainville in a rather plain brown wrapper. *shrug* anyways, just figured i'd share. my friends don't always appreciate my obsessions. here, i've an outlet to vent to those who understand. thanks for listening, fine früfolk. :) ^kat^ "mr. perception, sam-i-am" ------------------------------ End of alt.music.moxy-fruvous digest V1 #177 ********************************************
