No, Australia still has Our (alright My) Glorious and Noble Queen as head of state and is therefore not a republic. There is apparently much debate there about throwing off the shackels of imperial domination and putting someone else's head on their stamps. Vive la revolution cobbers. The only reason this man has not deeply perverted my children and turned them into mad devil worshipping monsters is that I haven't got any children. All his records should be completely banned and he should at least be forced to take singing lessons. I played Bark at the Moon backwards and it came out as `nnnNNNswubb ssnnthuuuth iiiaaaacrrnth' and I think we all know what *that* means. I'm sure he at least sings on it (there's a 3-part harmony while Mike sings the chorus), but I'd be suprised if that wasn't him on the guitar -- it's completely his style. *shrugs* : and what is that sound in Love Set Fire? it sounds like they plugged : the accordion through a distortion box, but I can't really tell. That's exactly what it is. It's the one Fruvous song where Dave uses his bass buttons, as well. (the intro is Ebass to Emajor alternating with the melody on the keyboard side). The rest of the chords in the verse go A-E-A-E-A-F#m-B if I recall. I love that track, although I'm partial to the solo acoustic version Murray does live now and then. - ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Josh Woodward, CheEsy Fru. joshw@mail.bgsu.edu Web Site and Tape List: http://www.dc-adnet.com/joshw/ "When I hold you, there are no secrets." - Fruvous ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 23 Jul 1998 11:30:35 GMT From: dacilen@bu.edu (Vika Zafrin) Subject: Re: August in Toronto On Wed, 22 Jul 1998 23:30:23 GMT, Irene Gaspar wrote: >So. Starfox (Andy) and myself (Bill) are going to the shows on the 7,8, and 9th. My brother and some of his friends will be going on the 7th show, Maige, Cricket, Vika, and some others whom I don't know of beyond name will be there as well (which shows and whatnot, I am not sure of).
