Very South actually. Yeah, but it's not too far south for someone from NY to make the drive down - OC is just a few beach towns below Atlantic City, which is what, 2 hours from NY? >But this is a fine time to make a trek to the shore, Nora. Hi All, I've noticed something at a few shows recently. The guys have been standing in the crowd trying to watch the opening band's and different people have gone up to them seeking autographs, etc. They are nice enough to indulge whoever it may be, but they disappear soon after. In my opinion, we should let them be fans and enjoy the performances, and save the autograph seeking for after their show!! Just a thought... Well, that's not exactly true...it *could* be a really good list, if people actually posted. I've been on this list since it started back in February, but of the 100 or so of us who subscribe there are maybe 10 of us who actually post, and the posts are sporadic at best - a fact which I have been persistantly trying to change with little success. If you're into GBS then come on and subscribe - maybe you can help me get this thing going! :-) - - Sue * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * "Sometimes I think, therefore sometimes I am" - Ron Hawkins ------------------------------ Date: 8 Jul 1998 01:54:42 GMT From: dot0926@aol.com (Dot0926) Subject: Re: greetings from Alberta! >Starfox wrote: >*laff* Murray said that the people who run the Old Fort River Festival, told >the guys that they should watch their language cuz "mother fucker won't >go over well here." Mike and Dave wanted to see the Sons of Tennesee after their second Ft Smith show, and I was glad no one tried to sit with them or bug them. One of the great things about Moxy Fruvous is the fact that you can meet them and talk to them. We shouldn't do anything to hurt that or make the guys shy away from doing it. Remember, just cuz we are fans, doesn't mean we have the right to intrude upon their lives. :) Especially when they are gracious enough to share some small aspect of their lives with the fans.
