All three days probably. The lineup is (begining at 3pm): Francis Dunnery James McMurty Moxy Fruvous Patti Griffin Mary Arden Collins And allow me to continue to encourage folks to come early for Francis Dunnery. He really is fabulous. You can hear sound clips at CDNow, if you responded with "who?" WXPN plays him so much now that I forget that other people aren't hearing him all day long. See you this weekend! (Note of interest, in Cincinnati, I believe Dave made the comment > that he "was no Bela Fleck") Bela Fleck and the Flecktones are incredible. From Fusion to Bluegrass(y), they're just all around great. Vic Wooten is definitely one of the most talented bass players alive today. The first time I caught a Fleck show, my eyes never left Vic's hands. His triple pop slap thing is just mind boggling. Mind boggling I tell you. If anyone lives near Indianapolis, Bela Fleck and the Flecktones are around here for two days sometime in July. If anyone needs more info, just ask me and I'll get it off my whiteboard at home. - Chad ------------------------------ Date: 7 Jul 1998 03:59:39 GMT From: dot0926@aol.com (Dot0926) Subject: Re: the coming week.... can anyone tell me where exactly ocean city, new jersey is, in relation to long island/nyc. maybe, maybe, maybe ill be able to catch another fruvous gig before october..... - -nora ************************************************************************** ******* " there's something exciting about the failure of modern technology to create a real looking fake human." - john linnell nora cohen (dot0926@aol.com) **************** ------------------------------ Date: 6 Jul 1998 19:53:20 GMT From: tempest@netaxs.com (Gale Storm) Subject: Re: 7/12 show FruWench (fruwench@aol.com) wrote: : Wrenn and mysellf will be. Also, in reference to Mary's (aka Cricket) post listing the line-up, 'XPN is promoting Francis Dunnery as the headliner for Sunday, so he'll be on last, not first. And yeah, I too reccomend that you catch his set if you're coming to the show - he's wonderful!
