How? By writing out all of the lyrics in "Maige-speak" in a notebook...which subsiquently was passed around at Appel Farms much to the amusement of the bi-lingual Fruvians among us. *grin* I also translated the lyrics to Morhee into "Maige-speak" but I haven't gotten around to memorizing them yet. However, If Fruvous ever decides to add Nuits de Rêve to their setlist *hint-hint* *nudge-nudge* *wink-wink* (Have you caught the allusion there? ;} ) I will be ready to mouth the words right along with them as I always do...except for the second part of the Johnny Saucep'n chorus which I can never seem to get right...but we won't go there.... Yay! go team grassroots! Bring friends. Bring your enemies. Bring your mom. Bring your mom's enemies. I don't think when Fruvous covers a song, they even want to be compared. When they cover a tune, it is a tribute to the original because they think the original is a great song. They aren't saying "The Bee Gees had a good try with this one. Let's fix it." We all have the right to enjoy the Fruvous versions better, but remember who created the song too cuz they get lotsa credit for the song and for influencing the boys to become what they have. - Chad ------------------------------ Date: 1 Jul 1998 16:02:17 -0700 From: "Jason A. This would be particularly useful for people who either don't have web access to check FDC, or just would rather be reminded than have to fire up their web browser. We can certainly put together an announcement type list, but we'd have to figure out what information was interesting enough to be included, and what could be left out. Tour dates and upcomming release type information is about the only thing I can think of that's a MUST HAVE. Would these more casual subscribers really want to get detailed show reviews and things like that? Are there really that many of us without web access? Perhaps it could include just tour date updates, any details about big happenings or upcomming projects/products... and a list of updates that have been made on FDC for that day/week... perhaps with links right in the mail to those hypertext resources.
