Ahh...a fru head from vermont! :) Mt. Snow used to play lots of Led Zeppelin on one of their double diamond trails. When i used to ski down it, i would dance a little. As a verfrumontian, you must ban together a bunch of other verfrumontians and request that they play Moxy Fruvous on that slope, so that people like me (and possibly you) can Fru Jam on the slopes while pulling off a daffy! :) Just my 2 cents. :) - -drx - --- DrX@netlabs.net http://www.netlabs.net/hp/drx/ "I'll introduce realism: the eye of the beholder" -rozz - --- ------------------------------ Date: 27 Jun 1998 12:52:19 GMT From: cassiel104@aol.com (Cassiel104) Subject: anyone tape the 6/24 pittsburgh show? hey kids, Just checking to see if anyone out there tapes, video or otherwise, the june 24th show at Rosebud in Pittsburgh..I seem to remember someone with a video camera there...Would love to get a hold of that. I just called up Metronome, and it's a 21+ show. :( Where are you in Montpelier? I live in Barre... I could grab you wood and the b-album if you want to reimburse me for 'em. This was in today's Toronto Star. POP RECORDINGS MOXY FRUVOUS Live Noise (Warner) Fans of harmonizing humorists Moxy Fruvous need only close their eyes and imagine the onstage antics of the Toronto quartet, who perform original hits ("King Of Spain," "My Baby Loves A Bunch of Authors") and popular "moxy-fied" cover tunes (Tom Waits' "Jockey Full Of Bourbon" and Bee Gees' "I've Gotta Get A Message To You") on Live Noise. Recorded in the U.S. in front of drunken college crowds and in sundry clubs - and including snippets of onstage banter and an inspired quiz-show improv entitled "The Lowest Highest Point" -- the 23-track album is, uh, a trip to bargainville. -- Jennie Punter Dissect at will *g* Fiona/Nafio (Extremely pleased to know I'll be running into several Früheads in August) - -----== Posted via Deja News, The Leader in Internet Discussion ==----- http://www.dejanews.com/rg_mkgrp.xp Create Your Own Free Member Forum ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 27 Jun 1998 17:53:46 GMT From: Cammysam2@aol.com Subject: Re: Fruvous Dream if you feel like a teeny bopper for having a dream, then i must bea bonafide fruvous addict. i mean, i have murray's signature on my right foot (which is fake) and it won't wash off, which i guess is a good thing, but it's a little hard to explain to people when i take off my socks... - -emma ------------------------------ Date: 28 Jun 1998 00:26:27 GMT From: kdsinthhal@aol.com (KdsInThHal) Subject: Re: Nu Fruhead >> Hello all. I know this is somewhat late, but I have a humble favor to ask of anyone who lives in or is passing by the Rochester area on route to the Toronto show. It seems that after a careful inspection, my poor lil Nova-car will not make the trip up (yes, all 3 hours of it :-P) so if anyone could give me a ride to that and/or the Media Play show the next day, you will have my eternal servatude...well maybe just my gratitude, but I will help pay for gas ^_^ Please e-mail me and I'll give you info an stuff.
