It's great PR for the band since Folger commercials are sort of like mini music videos. And the radio >spots are sorta nice too - interesting to hear Rockapella on commercial radio >Mary I dunno, Mary, I think it's kinda sad, actually. I mean, that's pretty low. You wouldn't catch any really popular group doing a comercial like that. They need publicity. Oh well. They're still great - even if Sean (the guy with the braids) is gone (sigh). Barry is still the best. I said I had a thing for bass singers! Even though he does look like Ron Perlman (from The City of Lost Children and Last Supper). Don't believe me? Check the website - they all look like their manager told them that to be hip they needed to look like the Backstreet Boys. :::heather shakes her head::: www.rockapella.com Heather Moore ________________________________________________________________ Get secure free e-mail that you don't need Web access to use from Juno, the world's second largest online service. Zero...None...again. I thought I would kindly inform them of the up-coming concert and suggest that they might want to stock up a little. I found the clerk's reaction interesting. She told me that they are ALWAYS out. They get in 20-30 copies at a time and they sell them right away. She said that is unheard of for a non "top 30" band in that store. And her personal favorite is MBLABOA. (An English major) Go Früvous! Of course, that stretch of 70 in Colo. beats the part between Grand Jct. and the first "town" in Utah. I say "town" because it consists of a Texaco station and a small restaurant (that I saw). Noteable, as it is the first place in Utah that has roadside serivces and access to east AND west bound I-70. - -- chad@ radix.net ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 07 Oct 1998 22:35:15 -0400 From: Chad Schrock Subject: Directions to Iron Horse Since FDC is so good (thanks Chris!) and has directions to Fe Horse, how long does it take to get from the airport in Hartford to Northampton? What is the weather going to be like? (How cold should I pack/dress for?) And lastly, does anyone remember where I'm staying? (The guy I'm going with made the hotel reservations and *he* knows. He even told me. I just don't remember. Hmmm....) (JG, care to edify? And, care to lend it out over IH weekend?? *grin*) - -Zard From a contest in the Wash.
