I was told just one hour before the tickets sold out earlier this week that there were plenty of tickets left. Now, there are none. I am very upset. That concert is the only time I can see Fruvous for a long time thanks to school. I have been eyeing this concert for well over 4 months. Now, I cannot go! This sucks. I have called Toronto, North Hampton and Boston hoping somehow I can get tickets. I live just outside of Boston, so going to the Iron Horse is a challenge, but I would do it to see them. I don't have a car, rather a license that is. I am 16, but I need to go. I was on the phone for 3 hours trying to get tickets to the show. I haven't been to a fruvous show since March and I dying over here. The concert means life to me. I have some friends in North Hampton, so I have already made plans to go there Friday night after school. Can anyone here get me into the concert? I need to. I have talked with the concert manager for the Iron Horse, but he says it is unlikely I could get it. It hurts. I missed the July 31 show in Boston cause I was in Florida. I need YOUR help. I need to go the show. I don't know if you can help, but can't you forward this to someone of high status. I have cried about 4 times because of this dylemma I am in. Dear Lord. Am willing to sell my soul for at least two, hoping to have four tickets to the October 30, show at the Iron Horse. If I don't get tickets, anyone who is there will recognize me as the guy dressed in a habit. It is Halloween! Please.......I can't go the 29th show at the Paradice in Boston cause of school, so the 30th is the only time I can go. I am a desperate fruhead who needs to go the concert. I am listening to a bootleg right now and am close to tears....it really does hurt. Why don't I have connections? Please help....Josh nastykiwi@aol.com ------------------------------ Date: 7 Oct 1998 22:22:39 GMT From: fruwench@aol.com (FruWench) Subject: Re: LHP/NLHP That's as may be. They're on rather frequently. It's great PR for the band since Folger commercials are sort of like mini music videos. And the radio spots are sorta nice too - interesting to hear Rockapella on commercial radio ;-) Mary - -----------== Posted via Deja News, The Discussion Network ==---------- http://www.dejanews.com/ Search, Read, Discuss, or Start Your Own ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 07 Oct 1998 23:47:24 GMT From: jkpolk@ntplx.net (Andrea Krause) Subject: Re: One song for NoHo? In a capella circles, Rockapella certainly don't need any publicity. I haven't seen *their* Folger's commercial on TV, but I've seen other commercials for this company, and as TV ads go, they aren't bad. I don't think this needs to be viewed as the group's "selling out", just because it does give them some great publicity. >They're still great - even if Sean >(the guy with the braids) is gone (sigh).
