I wanted to ask - was it the Gothic Theater that was really close to your house? (I was forgetting if it was the Gothic or the Bluebird.) Because we will be down there tomorrow night to see the They Might Be Giants show. If you were available, we could possibly arrange supper or something beforehand... Apologies to all! (And a belated happy birthday to Elaine and Melissa - many warm wishes were felt, just not gotten around to being sent on that day that turned out to be extra busy!) So, do I owe the list a report on the TMBG show now? - -Beth - -----Original Message----- >From: Beth Meyer >Sent: Nov 4, 2009 7:47 AM >To: alloy@smoe.org >Subject: Re: Alloy: Happy Birthday Melissa and Elaine > > >Hi, Keith; > >I have been extremely spotty and inconsistent in my Alloy correspondence >(or really, most any personal correspondence!) but I hope all is going >well. > >I wanted to ask - was it the Gothic Theater that was really close to your >house? So in concern that the list would think I made a mistake and then failed to correct it, I am resending it below, this time with a modification to the subject line in case that was the problem. I am obviously experiencing some karma over laughing at an outrageous e-mail thread at work yesterday, caused by person after person doing a "reply all" to ask to be unsubscribed from what was apparently a vast e-mail list, and then person after person saying "Stop hitting 'reply all'!!" - using reply all. (And if this message doesn't go through either, I'll just sit tight.) Sorry again, Beth -----Forwarded Message----- From: Beth Meyer Sent: Nov 4, 2009 8:05 AM To: alloy@smoe.org Subject: Re: Arghhh (sorry) OK, another doofus gets caught by thinking replies went to the originator and not to the entire list. We are now voyeur culture (akin to Pulp Culture). Facebook and Twitter our overlords. Yes, a concert review would do nicely, if you ever find the time, haha.
