It's just hot and sweaty here in DC (as if that's a surprise). But there's a little bit of a lovely cool breeze coming across your TV sets tomorrow night, in the form of TMDR friend & collaborator Imogen Heap on the Letterman Show. Don't know what she'll be performing (it was recorded yesterday), but if you want your ears to get a treat in advance, you can listen to her newly released CD streaming on her website here: http://www.imogenheap.com/ellipse/ Your ears - and your mind - will thank you! I don't often fall in love with a CD on the first listen, but I absolutely love this recording. It's been keeping me company at work for several days now, and I'm looking forward to my real-deal copy arriving. (I ordered the "Immi's Favorite" version with 13 instrumental tracks and a booklet made sustainably, which is pretty cool, and a remarkable bargain at $14.85 for a two-disc set.) Cheers to you all from the swamp, Melissa ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 26 Aug 2009 23:29:32 -0400 From: Merujo Subject: Re: Alloy: Kinda Sorta OT: Imogen Heap on David Letterman Friday night Heh, I wrote "tomorrow" in the body of my message - apparently, I lost a day somewhere. Wish I could find it. I could use the extra time. Ms. Heap is on Letterman Friday. Friday, Friday, Friday. :) - - Melissa On Wed, Aug 26, 2009 at 9:35 PM, Merujo wrote: > > Hi folks, > > I hope you are all enjoying the last gasp of summer (or winter, for any of > our friends down under).
